DIT has a great sporting tradition across a wide spectrum of sports-incorporating both team and individual sports. This wonderful tradition of competitive and recreational sport participation will be further enhanced by the move of DIT to our campus at Grangegorman, to be completed by 2017.
The proposed new development (indoor and outdoor) will provide DIT with a 'state of the art' sports complex, multi-purpose flood lit synthetic grass and natural grass pitches, tennis courts and recreational park areas for other outdoor leisure activities. This new development will enable the Institute to provide excellent facilities for both the competitive sportsmen/women and recreational users.
